Location: Bend

Compensation: $26.97/hour

Hours: Regular fulltime 40 hours/week)

Benefits: 100 premium paid Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance Agency paid Retirement plan (up to 6 almost 2 weeks of vacation time accrued in your first year plus 14 paid Holidays annually and separate sick leave accrual

NeighborImpact Housing Overview

NeighborImpacts Housing program offers crucial assistance to individuals and families in need within Crook Deschutes and Jefferson counties as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance prioritizing applications based on need rather than a firstcome firstserved basis.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Housing Advocate role involves providing personalized case management and support to clients ensuring their selfsufficiency and stable housing. Key responsibilities include compassionately and professionally conducting screenings and assessments to determine program eligibility connecting clients with community resources and advocating for housing opportunities. Additionally the Housing Advocate maintains precise client documentation and collaborates closely with the Client Services Manager to facilitate client success.

Requirements

Required

  • Associates degree in human services or related field required
  • In lieu of education 3 years direct experience in case management or related services required
  • English/Spanish bilingual required
  • Ability to travel throughout the tricounty area regularly even in inclement weather using personal vehicle required
  • Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
  1. Valid drivers license
  2. Proof of current auto insurance
  3. Access to reliable transportation required
  4. Satisfactory criminal background check required
  • Required within 90 days of hire:
  1. Complete the Bloodborne Pathogens and Naloxone Training within 90 days
  2. First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Two years experience (i.e. employment internships and longterm volunteer position) in the field preferred
