Job Description
BAYADA Home Health Careis currently seeking an experiencedOutpatient Physical Therapist PTforfulltimeopportunities performingoutpatientvisits in assisted living communities for ourSenior Livingoffice located inSterling VA. This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Tysons/Mclean VA.
Up to $5000 sign on bonus available for full time! Four day work week available for full time!
As anoutpatientPhysical Therapist you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team that provides outpatient services to clients affording them the opportunity to age in place.

Responsibilities for an Outpatient Physical Therapist include:
- Makeoutpatientvisits to clients in designated senior living communities.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements such as the mobility/range of joints transfer status stability patterns and appearance of ambulation strength and endurance of muscles balance testing and safety assessments.
- Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises gait training balance and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy PT plan of care and participate in the multidisciplinary care plan meetings including community staff as appropriate.
- Educate and instruct clients family members or community staff in therapy services and activities necessary to promote the clients health safety and independent living.
- Accurately document observations interventions and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided utilizing a stateoftheart touch pad tablet.
Qualifications for a PT Physical Therapist include:
- A currentVAPhysical Therapist PT license.
- Outpatient experience a plus but not required.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dynamic and strong interpersonal organizational and problem solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
