Onsite (Courthouse complex) childcare available at a discounted employee rate through Roseburg Professional Childcare (Fowler St. location only). Availability is subject to center waitlist.Job Summary:
This position performs specialized duties in management development and administration of operations maintenance and services of County parks campgrounds and/or recreational areas with primary duties including professional planning and development project and personnel management program improvement land use operations data research and preparation employee training and supervision. This position may serve as department director in their absence and meets the definition of a managerial atwill employee consistent with Personnel Rules.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities required will be considered. however the following is preferred:
While not part of initial applicant screening the finalist for this position may be required to pass a criminal history background check as part of a contingent offer of employment.
Employment is contingent upon a preemployment drug screen. Presence of nonprescribed including on drug screen results will result in disqualification pursuant to the Countys drug and alcohol policy. To determine if physically qualified to perform the essential functions employment offer is conditional upon satisfactory results of a postoffer medical and hearing exam conducted at county expense.
DRIVING RECORD:Applicants selected for interview will be required to bring to the interview aCERTIFIED COURT PRINT driving history obtained from DMV. Please allow 57 days for delivery; out of state allow two weeks.An unacceptable driving record for employment is defined in theDouglas County Driver Policy Standard Operation of Vehicles #5.
