Job Description
Senior PHP Symfony Framework developer
Location: Permanent Remote
Experience: 5 20 Years
Opportunity Full Time 8 hours Overlap Required: 5 hours PST
Contract length: 6 Months
Total Experience 5 years)
Key Skills & Requirements:
5 years of PHP experience with 5 years of recent Symfony expertise on midtolarge codebases.
Experience with Docker Kubernetes and PostgreSQL management.
Who you are
- A programming language agnostic having 5 years of experience in a similar role
- You share your ideas and continuously improve yourself and the team around you
- Solid experience as an Engineer designing developing and maintaining API driven solutions
- Strong communication skills high integrity and great attention to detail
Required knowledge and experience
- 5 years of PHP experience with a strong understanding of PHP internals
- 2 years of recent experience with Symfony
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing and working within a microservices architecture
- Production experience with PostgreSQL (managing DB not just using ORMs)
- You Ideally have experience with Elastic search RabbitMQ Memcache Redis
- Bonus: experience with ELK Jaeger Prometheus & Grafana
