Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Bench Sales Business Development Professional to drive business growth by identifying and securing new clients who require bench consultants. The ideal candidate will be proactive wellnetworked in the staffing industry and possess a strong ability to create and close business opportunities focused on placing consultants from our bench.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients in need of bench consultants. Establish and cultivate relationships with decisionmakers to grow the client base.
- Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads qualify prospects and build a robust sales pipeline focused on bench sales.
- Client Outreach & Meetings: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling networking and outreach campaigns. Conduct meetings (virtual and inperson) to understand client needs and present suitable bench consultant candidates.
- Negotiation & Contract Development: Lead contract negotiations define service agreements rates and terms with new clients ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct research on target industries and organizations to identify potential clients for bench consultant placements. Stay uptodate with market trends and competitive landscape to tailor business development strategies.
- Collaboration with Recruiting Teams: Work closely with internal recruiting teams to match the right bench consultants with client requirements. Ensure seamless communication and smooth process flow for candidate placement.
- Revenue Growth & Target Achievement: Focus on revenue generation by meeting or exceeding targets related to the acquisition of new business for placing bench consultants.
- Sales Reporting & Metrics: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions. Provide regular updates on sales progress pipeline status and closed deals to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development and sales within the US IT staffing industry with a strong focus on bench sales.
- Proven Track Record: Successful history of driving new business particularly for placing bench consultants with an established client network.
- Sales Expertise: Deep experience in lead generation sales pipeline management and closing deals. Strong ability to negotiate and develop contracts.
- Client Relationship Building: Ability to establish and nurture longterm relationships with clients providing exceptional customer service and understanding their staffing needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Indepth understanding of the US staffing industry with specific knowledge of bench sales IT skillsets in demand and hiring trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively present solutions to clients and interact with senior stakeholders.
- GoalOriented: Highly motivated and goaldriven with the ability to manage and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools sales automation platforms and staffing software to track leads client interactions and placements.
- ProblemSolving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess client needs anticipate challenges and offer appropriate staffing solutions.
