1. Works with Dr. Warren to develop specific project management plans and operational budgets.
2. Tracks the operational and financial progress of ongoing projects including development of work breakdown structures Gantt charts and financial spreadsheets. Reconciles any discrepancies between project budget and expenditures with Partners financial systems (e.g Insight).
3. Works with other members of the Warren laboratory to track and facilitate completion of required compliance activities and documentation for projects. This may include facilitation of necessary training of staff approval of animal and human study protocols biohazard and recombinant DNA protocols; drafting and of confidential disclosure and IP agreements implementation of small business contracting plans production of batch records or meeting of training requirements.
4. Identifies deviations from project timeline deliverables and budget in a timely manner and works with project team to address and resolve these deviations.
5. Identifies emerging project scope changes and works with team to develop and implement required changes to the project; analyzes impact on deliverables and budget; facilitates communication of scope change requests and/or notifications to sponsors as required.
6. Facilitates project team and collaborator meetings including selecting meeting venues establishing required telecommunications connections communicating meeting times and dates and taking notes for meetings.
7. Establishes and maintains projectrelated document repositories for project collaborators and facilitates access to collaborators as needed.
8. Produces initial drafts of and/or facilitates completion of required reports to project sponsors.
9. Produces initial drafts and facilitates completion of project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
10. As possible and interest and ability dictates helps coordinate prepare and submit articles for publication.
Business office/research setting. Familiarity with the laboratory setting. Occasional travel may be required.
Fiscal Responsibilities:
Projects with budgets of $500000 to 5 million.
1. Bachelors Degree required in related field
2. Masters degree or PhD in science and/or in related field preferred (e.g. project management logistics operations management or business management).
3. Experience in science related projects. Familiarity with relevant computer programs.
4. 25 years of experience required in science and/or operational or project management in life sciencesrelated field. (Some experience in Federallyfunded projects ideal but not essential).

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills ideally in science related fields.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Budgeting and financial analysis of complex multimodular projects helpful.
6. Facility with software related to project management and communications: MS Office suite (Word Excel and Powerpoint Acrobat or equivalent); knowledge or desire to learn project management software (e.g. MS Project FastTrack Schedule Clarizen);
