Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Controls Systems Specialist with a focus on Risk systems to lead the definition identification and implementation of new project controls tools. This role will play a key part in enhancing our project delivery capabilities by introducing modern efficient systems that support risk management and overall project governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Requirements

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for new project controls systems with an emphasis on risk management functionality.

    • Translate business needs into technical specifications for system design and configuration.

  • Identify Suitable Systems

    • Research and evaluate available project controls and risk management systems in the market.

    • Recommend appropriate tools that align with organizational goals processes and compliance requirements.

  • System Implementation

    • Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of selected systems including planning configuration testing and deployment.

    • Coordinate with IT vendors and end-users to ensure seamless integration with existing platforms.

    • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Monitor system performance and gather user feedback post-implementation.

    • Propose and execute enhancements to improve usability and functionality over time.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with project controls systems particularly risk management solutions.

  • Strong understanding of project risk processes methodologies and reporting.

  • Experience in selecting and implementing enterprise tools or platforms.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Excellent documentation communication and training skills.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis Active Risk Manager (ARM) or similar.

  • Background in large infrastructure engineering or construction projects.

  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 31000 or PMI Risk Management Framework.
