Education/Degree:
- Masters Degree in Nursing or HealthCare Informatics is required.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience clinical experience is required.
Preferred
- Rehab experience preferred.
Licensure

Summary:
Integrate knowledge from nursing science information science and computer science to support and improve nursing workflow throughout the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. Identify collect process manage and report data and information to support nursing practice administration education research and the expansion of nursing knowledge. Serve as a consultant on informatics issues which impact nursing education and practice. Represent the Department of Nursing in Information Systems initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders as new applications are developed tested and implemented. Conduct and coordinate nursing staff training on new systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nursing input and guidance is provided to ensure applications support and improve nursing workflow in the areas of practice administration education research and the expansion of nursing knowledge.
- Nursing feedback and input is gathered and summarized to ensure applications meet nursing requirements.
- Nursing workflow and information needs are documented per established guidelines and communicated to appropriate parties.
- New application testing is performed to ensure it meets implementation goals.
- Implementation activities are coordinated to meet project timeframes and objectives.
- Training sessions are conducted with staff to meet established objectives.
- Additional department organization or network activities are completed per established objectives.
