Job Description
Partners HealthCare at Home serves patients from rehabilitation after illness or injury to chronic disease management. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality specialized care designed to meet the patients unique needs with the goal of optimizing independence and quality of life. Our clinicians are highly skilled and able to function both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Review send and receive physicians orders. Function collaboratively with billing medical records and clinical staff along with physician offices to obtain outstanding orders and information. Record information in computer system and generate reports to monitor information. Claim issue inquiries are researched resolved and communicated to the Billing Department to expedite the claim payment.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years office experience required; prior healthcare experience preferred
Basic medical terminology knowledge required
Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software
Ability to work with and maintain sensitive and confidential patient information
Strong organizational and detail oriented skills
Excellent verbal written and electronic communications skills
Persistence in follow through to get job accomplished
Excellent customer service skills with a diverse population
Physical Environment
Usual office environment. May attend meetings in a variety of external organizations healthcare facilities hotels and other venues.
