Prior experience providing schedule/patient management in support of multiple clinicians is essential. Thorough knowledge ofEpic system modules and/or appropriate computer skills to acquire knowledge. Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision to resolve issues and attention to detail. Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills flexibility to manage multiple tasks and ability to prioritize large workload. Reliable/dependable work history with proven abilities of initiative and proactive problem solving. Associates Degree required. Bachelors Degree in Business or related filed preferred. Min. of 3 to 5 years of related experience in an ambulatory medical practice.
Practice Access Coordinator is responsible for ensuring prompt patient access to high quality Physical/Occupational Therapy Services. By using excellent discretion and judgment and by being proactive effective and efficient Practice Access Coordinator manages clinician schedules. Assist Department administration with the effective management of the practices daily operations and revenue enhancement. Develops and maintains a front desk training and orientation manual. Assists with special projects as required.
