Job Description
Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking a fulltime general Endocrinology Physician to add to our growing Division of Endocrinology.
The chosen candidate will become part of a fulltime faculty inpatient and outpatient general Endocrinology practice with opportunities to subspecialize in specific endocrine illnesses and be part of a multispecialty team in a hospital setting located in Nassau County on Long Island. The candidate must have an interest in providing officebased and inpatient consultations on the Eendocrinology service and to participate in teaching in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He or she will work closely with a variety of specialists in Medicine and other Departments and with our excellent Diabetes Education Center allowing patients to address many of their healthcare needs in one location. The selected candidate will also be a part of the Thyroid / Parathyroid Center working closely with senior Head/Neck Surgeons. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

- Administrative duties in coordination with the Metabolic Disorders Service Line Administrator

Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Committed to Mount Sinai South Nassau and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication bedside manner and organizational skills
- A system work ethic and desire to participate in a teamoriented performance driven health system
- Experience with the various glucose monitoring systems and insulin delivery devices such as: continuous glucose monitoring insulin pump therapy and insulin pens
Compensation range from 220K to 250K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
