Job Description
Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a full time Staff Perfusionist to join our team. This individual will work with a dynamic team of professionals in a diverse academic setting. The ideal candidate will be interested in innovation quality improvement safety and research.Responsibilities include: Operates monitors and maintains extracorporeal support for open heart surgical procedures liver transplantation lung transplantation chemotherapy treatment thoracoabdominal aneurysm repairs Mechanical circulatory support including ventricular assist ECMO and balloon pumping Participates in quality improvement research and simulation projects Requirements: Bachelors degree and completion of an accredited school of perfusion and eligible for the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Ability to communicate and work effectively with all cardiac team members Current Massachusetts state license Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays and be oncall as scheduled Questions Contact our HR Recruiter: Stacy Gardner ***Full Job description available upon requestMassachusetts General Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
