About the Role

As an AppOmni Alliance Solution Sales Engineer youll serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) directly supporting AppOmni Alliance efforts to meet quotas and contribute to AppOmnis rapid growth. Youll partner closely with Alliance Partner and AppOmni sales teams leveraging your expertise to lead customers to successful outcomes via our strong Alliance partnerships. Youll also have the opportunity to work closely and collaborate with internal teams like Product Management Product Marketing and Customer Success to ensure we align AppOmni Alliance partner activities with AppOmni activities.

What Youll Do

We expect the Alliance Solution Sales Engineer to be able to cover and own the following tasks during day2day engagements and interactions with Alliance partners and internal AppOmni teams.

  • Provide technical expertise for AppOmni Alliances partners and opportunities.
  • Present AppOmni to Alliance partners and customers at all levels from technical engineering team members to Clevel decision makers.
  • Provide technical demos.
  • Streamline and help Alliance partners run and deliver AppOmni customer Risk Assessments and ProofofValue (POV) engagements.
  • Lead technical conversations about SaaS security industry trends and emerging challenges.
  • Interact locally and remotely with Alliance Partners in an equally persuasive manner.
  • Be the technical voice of AppOmni for all things related to SaaS security and compliance.
  • Champion SaaS security best practices and innovations.
  • Work with Product Management and Product Marketing to build requirements and product features based on feedback from customers.
  • Work with the AppOmni Customer Success team to coordinate AppOmni and Alliance partner activities..
  • Foster relationships with AppOmnisupported SaaS security partners and vendors.
  • Provide technical AppOmni solution coverage for AppOmni Alliance Partner marketing activities.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of central AppOmni Demo systems and demo guides.

What Were Looking For

  • 5 years of experience as a security system engineer Solutions Engineer or systems integrator.
  • Experience working with strategic alliance partners is a plus
  • Working knowledge of common SaaS solutions such as SFDC O365 Zoom Box Slack Okta Github ServiceNow Workday both from a technology and a business driver standpoint.
  • Selfdriven and selfmotivated individual who enjoys a fast moving and constantly changing environment.
  • Emerging market experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience in securing SaaS / cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of API based security & compliance standards.
  • Handson experience working with customers positioning demonstrating and configuring security products during risk assessment or POV engagements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical qualification and closing skills.
  • Experience from companies in the enterprise security space and experience working with and closing enterprise transactions.
  • Strong problem finding and solving skills ability to analyze complex problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.
  • Experience understanding exploits malware ransomware and their creation and activation etc.
  • Technical acumen with a broad technical security and infrastructure background.
  • Programming and DevOps experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience with working with Channel partners and understands a channel centric go to market approach

Our total rewards package includes the following:

  • Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $124000 $170000 USD. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as the final candidates skills qualifications and experience as well as business considerations and peer compensation.

  • Incentive Pay: We offer performancebased variable compensation in the form of a 30 commissions plan.
