Requirements:
Students must be currently enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program using the internship towards credits for that program
The internship position requires weekday availability of at least 12 hours per week with flexible scheduling between the hours of 9AM5PM. Thursday morning availability 912pm)highly preferred.

We are currently seeking an individual to join the Patient Care Services (PCS) Human Resources Team (beginningJanuary 2016. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining experience in a fastpaced health care HR department. As the largest employer in the city of Boston the incumbent will gain handson experience in many HR functions including recruitment retention and employee relations.
Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Provide backup front desk coverage for HR Assistant.
Provide administrative support to Human Resources Staff members including data entry word processing copying filing and office mail pickup and delivery.
Assist walkin candidates with application and employment opportunity questions.
Assist with various telephone & email inquiries by retrieving telephone messages & emails and returning routine phone calls and emails.
Assist HR Generalist and HR Staff with special projects as needed.
Perform reference checks for final candidates.
