Location:Canopy by Hilton Downtown Ithaca Strand Cafe
About Us:At Canopy by Hilton we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Were looking for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team and help us continue to serve up delicious mornings!
Position:FullTime Breakfast Cook
Hours:6:00 AM 2:00 PM (may vary)
Salary:Competitive based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items including eggs omelets and specialty dishes.
- Bake fresh pastries daily ensuring highquality standards and consistency.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to create appealing and delicious dishes.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Maintain proper food handling safety and sanitation standards.
- Adapt to special dietary requests and preferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a breakfast cook or similar role preferably in a hotel or caf setting.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for food and baking.
- Positive attitude and strong team player with good communication skills.
- Certification in food handling or culinary arts is a plus.
