General Overview

Working as part of the Partners eCare PMO team the Project Manager will provide support to project teams during the Design and Implementation phases of the program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management and Support
Support assigned Program teams in the design and development of project plans that conform to program standard methodology including the definition of deliverables and milestones
Works with assigned Project Director Application Manager or Committee Chair to support development and maintenance of team specific communication frameworks and documentation around meeting agendas meeting minutes decision documents
Works with assigned Project Director Application Manager or Committee Chair to identify and train analytic support internal to project teams to support note taking and other documentation needs if Project Analyst not part of the team.
Identifies opportunities in conjunction with Program Controls and Tools manager to leverage program tools including SharePoint functionality to support team specific communication and documentation
Support coordination and updates of individual teams or committee plans within integrated program plan
Assist assigned Project Director Application Manager or Committee Chair in producing project reports and lessons learned
Provide analytical support to assigned Project Director Application Manager or Committee Chair if needed
Assist in development of standard project management methodology and tools
Plan manage and oversee routine updates to Project Plan activities for assigned project teams using program standard methodology
Conform to and support program management disciplines such as status reporting issue log risk management program task metrics and milestones
Understand project dependencies and assist Project Architect to leverage resources within teams to maintain the project time lines and goals
Leverages knowledge of project dependencies and timelines across program teams to assist in reconciliation of competing priorities
Prepare ongoing project status reports for assigned teams
Support integrated reporting of program milestones status
Effectively communicate team status with Project Team and Program Leadership
Assist in management of program change requests
Assist in management of relationship with third party vendors supporting program and facilitate communication of program efforts
Escalate and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Provide project specific guidance and direction to support timely and quality results
Establish and create a positive project team environment

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required
5 or more years experience in management operations and project management preferably within a healthcare environment
PMP or other PM certification preferred

Skills/Abilities/Competencies

Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong commitment to customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Ability to understand the program environment and competing priorities in conjunction with program goals.
Ability to provide direction as needed to team members other staff and consultants.
Ability to work within a complex multisite environment
Ability to handle stressful situations in calm and professional manner
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Ability to cooperatively and effectively work with people from various organization levels (entry level staff to senior leadership) and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy
Strong PC / Microsoft skills required (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Project Microsoft Visio)

Working Conditions

Standard office environment.
Frequent local travel to Partners sites.

Supervisory Responsibility

No direct reports but must be able to manage indirect resources who are participating in project

Fiscal Responsibility

Awareness of budget and implications for project
