Lochmueller Groups Water Resources Department is growing and we are looking for a talented Water Resources Process Engineer to join our team in Kansas City Missouri. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with substantial experience working on wastewater drinking water and/or storm water projects.This is a great opportunity to join our growing team as we expand into the Kansas City area.

In this position the candidate will:
Develop project designs in conformance with the latest design standards.
May be assigned management of projects and will be given budgetary limitations and staffing to complete the project.
Stay current on available modeling software and utilizes it to efficiently design facilities.
Develop read and interpret schematic and construction plans.
Manage the production of drawings in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Perform design quantity computations and checks for developing opinions of probable construction cost.
Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department.
Apply a variety of specification regulations policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal State and local rules and regulations.
Work with clients to pursue project funding through available funding agencies while following funding agency practices and policies.
Perform business development activities to assist with the growth of our Water Resources service line.
Qualifications for this role:
Bachelors or masters degree in civil or environmental engineering or other applicable engineering field.
Professional Engineer (PE)
10 years of experience in this discipline
Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater drinking water and/or stormwater design projects
Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel Word and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
