Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Witbank. The ideal candidate will design and manage lighting installations at Eskom Plants oversee electrical systems including HV/MV/LT terminations cable racking and wiring for various buildings and ensure compliance with hazardous location regulations. A strong background in electrical engineering and experience in power generation plants are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and management of lighting systems and installations.
- Oversee electrical engineering projects including inspections on hazardous locations and certifications.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
- Perform cable racking reticulation and HV/MV/LT terminations and joints 110V22kV).
- Supervise wiring and installations for industrial domestic and commercial buildings.
- Manage the design manufacturing and maintenance of Motor Control Centres (MCCs) and distribution boards.
- Execute substation and minisubstation projects.
- Provide technical expertise for fabrication and structural repairs onsite.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in lighting systems particularly in power generation plants.
- Strong background in hazardous location inspection and certification.
- Knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems for quality safety and environmental compliance.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical engineering projects in industrial settings.
- CIDB Grading experience advantageous 6CE 5EP 6SQ).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Salary: negotiable.
