UnityPoint Clinic is a physicianled nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care walkin care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the areas clinics are improving outcomes lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. Overview
- Established General Surgery practice
- Flexible schedule to meet providers needs
- Current team: 3 Physicians 2 APPs
- Competitive compensation and benefits package Including signon bonus relocation 401k with employer match etc.
- Experienced staff both clinical and nonclinical who know the patients extremely well
- Fully staffed team of RNs and CMAs
- Clinic and OR located on same campus
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
- Additional details by request from group
Responsibilities
- Average patients/day: 12 in clinic and 3 in OR
- 5 half days in clinic with OR time scheduled as needed
- Trauma call shared with three other Physicians
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in IA
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work as a team member
