Job Description
Participates in the overallplanning implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive program forperformancebased staff education including department orientation mandatoryeducation programs continuing education and educational activities whichassist the staff in meeting the hospitals mission. Collaborates with Nurse Managers relative tounitbased orientation and educational programming. Collaborates with nursing staff and otherhealth care providers relative to patient educational programming. Uses avariety of sources to assess needs including quality improvement finds andimplements resources to meet the knowledge and skills needs identified.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse inthe Commonwealth ofMassachusetts.Masters Degree in Nursing or Educationrequired BSN required. Eligible to attain American Heart AssociationInstructorTrainer BLS and/or ACLS Certification. Minimum of 3 years OR experience
