The Operating Room features 10 fully equipped surgical rooms 2 special procedure rooms serving patients of all acuity levels. Our busiest specialties are ENT Urology and Ortho but we also see many cases in general surgery plastics GI neurosurgery dental and ophthalmology.
Primary Position Summary:
The RN III is responsible for:
- Providing patient centered specialized nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment research education and advocacy.
- Coordinating care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes.
- Providing direction to other team members to promote quality safety and excellence in care.
- Providing evidencebased patient care based on the nursing process policy procedures and protocols of the Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Participating and promoting quality clinical improvement by supporting departmental and hospital safety standards.
- Practicing and promoting responsible costeffective use of resources.
- Completing all identified annual requirements and competencies for patient population unit department and institution.
- Participating in the performance appraisal process.
- Consistently demonstrating organizations core values.
Work Location: St. Petersburg FL
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (rotating)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required
- At least 5 years RN experience
- BLS certification provided by AHA other certifications as required by home department. All credentials must be maintained with active status.
- Nursing Certification preferred

Salary Range: Minimum37.22per hour Maximum57.70per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
