Yoga Teacher for VinyasaBased Heated Yoga & Sculpt Studio YogaSix Ocean Township NJ
YogaSix Shrewsburyis looking for dedicated teachers that want to grow and take their teaching to the next level and have the desire to join an amazing tribe of teachers that is changing lives. We are seeking warm outgoing engaging team members who thrive in a community environment and are committed to guiding classes that are empowering energizing and FUN. Teachers are hired as employees (not independent contractors) as we invest in your development and growth.
Opportunities also exist to teach at our existing YogaSix studio in Shrewsbury NJ.

Job Responsibilities:
- Arrive to studio a minimum of 2030 minutes prior to class start time and depart 1015 minutes after class is concluded
- Create a personal connection with each student
- Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the Yoga Six standards and guidelines for each of the six core class types
- Set up classroom appropriately: Props Mat Spacing Music Lighting
- Provide topnotch class instruction
- Follow up with students after class
- Clean studio space
- Build community and connection
Position Requirements:
- Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service
- Genuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal level
- Willingness to grow and remain a student forever
- A sense of humor
- Demonstrate the ability to teach a safe fun and creative class with a genuine interest in student success whether novice or seasoned practitioner
- Complete the YogaSix The Bridge training sessions in a timely manner and continue ongoing training updates
- Be ready to accept and absorb feedback into your ongoing learning experience
- Minimum 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification
- 1 years teaching experience required
- Over time gain experience on at least 4 of the 6 YogaSix class styles and ultimately master all 6 classes
- Current CPR Certification or attend a CPR class within 3 months of hire
- Light studio prep and cleaning before and after class
- Must teach 23 days per week 34 sessions per week. 34 days per week preferred and cover 36 classes per week including Holidays and weekends
Screened candidates will be invited to provide a 710 minute audition video (guidelines and instructions will be provided)
Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience/ability/formats. Hourly rate plus per class stipend as well as a monthly bonus pool for studio performance prorated based on the number of classes covered that month. Free studio membership as well as discounts of brandname apparel! Ongoing performance reviews will allow for pay increases over time.
