• Provide practical businessoriented legal advice to the GTM functions
• Draft review negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial contracts including MSAs Professional Services agreements NDAs and other customerfacing agreements
• Partner with sales and customer success teams to facilitate contract negotiations and ensure smooth deal flow
• Develop and implement scalable processes and templates to drive efficiency in contract management and legal operations
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters related to customer agreements including data privacy security and regulatory considerations
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure agreements align with company policies and revenue recognition requirements
• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory trends in the SaaS industry and proactively recommend updates to contractual terms and business practices
• Engage with and manage international legal partners when we need third party legal support in nonUS jurisdictions.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5 years of relevant experience in commercial transactions preferably inhouse at a SaaS or technology company
• Strong negotiation skills with a practical businessfriendly approach to problemsolving
• Knowledge of global privacy regulations such as GDPR and experience reviewing data protection language is a huge plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastmoving environment with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to nonlegal stakeholders.

Our compensation philosophy encompasses a fair program for all in order to attract engage and retain talented individuals who will drive our business and wow our customers.

The compensation range for this position is: $187000 $240000.This range reflects the low and high end of the U.S. compensation range Kentik reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role. The actual compensation offered may be lower or higher than the stated range depending on various factors including but not limited to:

• Experience with the skill sets required for success
• Demonstrated competencies and potential
• A geographic marketbased approach
