ABOUT THE WORK:
The Manager of Donor Data and Analytics has the primary function of managing donor information systems for the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare. S/he is responsible for providing leadership and direction to support direct mail online event and other fundraising strategies; recommending implementing and managing the support of our database applications and infrastructure; establishing and develop department processes and procedures; tracking and reporting performance measures; and managing the daytoday operation and usage of the Raisers Edge (RE) database for both fundraising and organizationwide initiatives. The Manager of Donor Data and Analytics supervises the Development Data Coordinator and reports to the Director of Corporate Partnerships.
Donor Relations and Analytics
Create and execute a technical vision encompassing ways in which data can support the overall fundraising strategy.
Partners with the frontline fundraising and development communications staff to leverage data to meet overall fundraising goals.
Analyzes and segments data to foster effective donor relations and targeted donor communications and to contribute to overall strategy for annual giving campaigns.
Segments lists coordinates logistics and tracks results and metrics including retention and acquisition rates.
Identifies new segments of the donor database and recommends and manages testing
Mine our donor and prospect lists for new opportunities. Coordinates the creation of summary and analytical reports to monitor fundraising activity; advises and supports development staff in creating and using reports.

Data Systems
Ensures the RE database and operations support fundraising strategies translating fundraising goals and strategies into operations
Ensures the highest possible integrity and accuracy of donor and fundraising data. Creates standardizes and documents RE usage policies and procedures to ensure data integrity ease of use and accuracy of extracted data. Identifies and designs solutions to data integrity issues.
Responsible for communicating and enforcing RE usage policies/ standards to all users and providing additional training and mentoring for team members as needed.
Works with the PHS Development Applications team to prepare our data and users for conversion to a new systemwide CRM.
Manages the production of standard and custom reports determining with the team which reports are needed regularly (monthly weekly etc. and setting them up to allow selfservice reporting
When needed builds custom reports for special projects
Builds queries and exports for complex mailing lists such as newsletters direct mail appeals and event invitations
Optimizes the use of the databases across the organization by staying current on upcoming enhancements to functionality and guiding staff in the appropriate use of the existing functionality.
Extracts data to generate accurate mailing and email lists donor recognition lists etc. for both development and the Schwartz Center as a whole.
Imports proposals contact lists and other data and adds and updates data globally.
Leads a crossdepartmental data committee along with the Data Coordinator Program Manager and Program Coordinator to coordinate the flow of information between the Schwartz Centers membership and development databases standardization of data entry and data exports to meet the needs of the Center.
In partnership with the Data Coordinator develops a system and schedule for quality control checks.
Evaluates and improves gift input procedures; checks accuracy and completeness of gift batch data. Serves as backup for gift processing staff during highvolume periods.
Works with Data Coordinator to create and update campaigns funds and appeals
Evaluates and improves event registration systems for the Annual Dinner and other fundraising events.
Manages the NetCommunity (BBNC) system to maximize online giving capabilities and event registrations.
Coordinates with the finance team on PCI compliance monthly and yearly financial reconciliation and other systemslevel issues between finance and development.
Serves as the primary liaison to the Partners Development Applications Team and participates in several Partnerswide councils.
Administration
Manages the Development Data Coordinator. Sets goals and objectives monitors workflow provides coaching and supports and evaluates performance.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues as they arise on behalf of the department.

WERE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 35 years experience working with Raisers Edge or other fundraising database software.
Experience working with a CRM platform.
Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of MS Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint and the Internet.
Ability to think critically and creatively.
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks at once.
Really good skills to manage up and across.
A customerservice approach to serving colleagues and good communication skills
Strong organizational skills detailoriented and efficient.
Comfortable working within the guidelines of a larger institution.
