READS Collaborative is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher in both READS Academy and contracted to nearby districts. This is a full time school year position. Bilingual/ bicultural applicants are encouraged to apply.Qualified applicants should possess the following: Experience designing and delivering high quality explicit English Language Development instruction to support the rapid acquisition of English Proficiency and support access to grade level content. Effective use of culturally responsive teaching practices to support students socially emotionally and academically. Experience using a variety of assessment methods to make data informed instructional decisions that accelerate student growth. Highly effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work with a diverse population of students. Strong positive interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students colleagues and supervisors. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
