The APP provides patient centered specialized evidence based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment research education and advocacy. APPs are boardcertified providers that assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury. APPs contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy.
APPs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.
Qualifications:
Current Florida State Licensure as a APRN PA
Clinical MSN or DNP PNPAC PNPPC or FNP for APRNs or Masters in Physician Assistant studies
Current BLS and/ or PALS
Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse PractitionerAcute Care PNPPC or FNP or PA;One year of Emergency or Urgent Care APP experience required

Salary Range: Minimum52.02per hour Maximum80.63per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
