We are now looking for a passionate Lead Product Designer & UX Strategist to join our Product Team.Are you ready for a leadership role that still allows you to stay handson with design Look no further:
Your role in a team:
Team Leadership:
- Provide clear direction mentorship and support a team of designers and UX researchers ensuring alignment with quarterly goals and timelines.
- Oversee the endtoend design and research processes ensuring projects meet quality standards.
- Create and maintain structured workflows tools and processes to optimize team efficiency and communication especially with stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation accountability and continuous learning.
- Partner with our marketing team to align the design and research teams efforts with the companys strategic goals.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback and set professional development goals for team members.
Design and Research Excellence:
- With your team establish and maintain design and research standards guidelines and best practices to ensure a cohesive and highquality user experience.
- Provide constructive feedback on design and research deliverables ensuring they align with brand guidelines and user needs.
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and our operations team to prioritize design and research tasks and align on project requirements.
What you need to be successful:
- Proven experience 5 years) in design and/or UX research roles with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of implementing effective workflows and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic and pragmatic thinking with attention to detail in .
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Familiarity with UX research methodologies including usability testing surveys and interviews.
- Experience working in crossfunctional teams collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
- Prior experience in a B2C environment is required.
- You are fluent in English German is a big plus.
- You are located in Berlin.
