Job Description
- Responsible for the safe and proper operation of all equipment in designated area which may include power jacks.
- Work also includes being on ladders and using proper fall protection and safety checks.
- Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSPs) when handling equipment.
- Practice Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Remove all debris from machinery floors contact points prior to cleaning.
- Prerinse machinery and contact surfaces.
- Foam scrub and rinse entire processing room (i.e. walls floors food contact surfaces equipment) prior to sanitizing.
- Perform tasks with limited supervision.
- Document HACCP details.
- Provide accurate and consistent feedback to department supervisor.
- Consistently communicate with department coworkers on current tasks.
- Perform sanitation duties for production equipment as needed and period sanitation work as assigned.
- Proper knowledge handling and usage of cleaning chemicals.
- Other duties may be required and assigned as needed.
- Must be able to lift moderate weight.
- Follow all Safety Rules
- Wear all appropriate PPE.
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Previous Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
- Seeking individuals who work well with teams are goal oriented and enjoy satisfaction in performing a job well done.
- Must be able to lift between 25 and 50 pounds frequently depending on job assignment.
