You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington is seeking a fulltime faculty member for an appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor (without tenure by reason of funding) on the Faculty Scientist track to join the Division of Endocrinology and the Seattle Childrens Research Institute (SCRI) Center for Child Health Behavior and Development. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in behavioral research related to diabetes or other areas that will complement the activities of SCRI the University of Washington or both institutions. Teaching duties may include researchbased mentorship with students fellows and junior faculty. Academic rank at the time of appointment is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Anticipated start date is September 1 2025.
Associate and full Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research and service.

The base salary range for this position will be: Associate Professor PhD or Professor PhD$13334 $25000 per month $180000 $250000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in the University benefit determinations and calculations.
The successful candidate will have earned a PhD and/or Psy.D. (or foreign equivalent)in clinical psychology or related fields. Faculty providing clinical care will also be required to meet WA Department of Health licensure requirements.
