Chelmsford Public Schools Announcement of Vacancies for theSchool YearThe Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or budget. Title: Supervisor of StudentsLocation: McCarthy Middle SchoolGeneral Description:The Supervisor of Students is responsible for maintaining an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. . REPORTS TO: Middle School PrincipalJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Monitor students inside and outside of the school building.* Monitor students at arrival and departure times.* Receive bus incident reports from bus drivers and follow up accordingly.* Follow through with appropriate student discipline measures in accordance with the Student/District Handbook.* Supervise students in cafeteria and hallways.* Monitor students during afterschool activities3 days per week including bus supervision after activities.* Monitor students during detention/suspension when necessary.* Other responsibilities as designated by the principal.
