You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Logistics Clerk ensures that products inventory parts or vehicles move from one place to another efficiently and costeffectively per the approved Logistics policies and procedures. Because Logistics and Warehouse are key parts of the supply chain (controlling the storage and flow of products materials information or services) these key employees are trusted with the swift and secure transportation of the supply chain while adhering to the preset policies procedures and deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews and researches client needs and develops the best method of approach to fulfill theirneeds.
Coordinates the process of a shipment from acquisition to delivery.
Corresponds with clients suppliers warehouses and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency.
Inputs and monitors logistical data.
Coordinates with Order Desk to ensure proper and timely movement of all shipped orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required: Accounting Software (QuickBooks); Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Excel); Inventory Systems
