ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilledDiesel Fitterto join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively to deliver highquality maintenance solutions and outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
- Maintain repair and service a variety of mobile plant equipment in line with Thiess and industry standards.
- Diagnose faults troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance.
- Complete documentation and reporting to a high standard.
- Uphold excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to risk management and safe work practices.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role you will bring:
- A Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification.
- Posttrade experience in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
- Handson experience with general maintenance breakdowns component changeouts and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment.
- A current drivers licence (Standard 11 certification is desirable).
- A proactive attitude toward safety and a commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.
