This industry powerhouse is growing and seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team! The role itself is exciting and not like a standard corporate accounting role because it works collaboratively & crossfunctionally across various departments. For example Plant Accounting IT Distribution Facilities and Financial Planning & Analysis.

The Senior Accountant prepares and focuses on account reconciliations and performs financial analyses while ensuring internal controls are adhered to. The incumbent will primarily focus on coordination of fixed asset transactions and management reports; assist in preparation of external reports; and reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting
- CPA CPA candidate preferred
- 36 years accounting experience
- Have strong analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
- Ability to function effectively while meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal communication and administrative skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows environment and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Familiarity with SAP systems preferred
