We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Capulas technology team in London.
Overall purpose of the job:
- Help deliver our nextgen cloudnative platform built on AWS and Kubernetes by leveraging your DevOps expertise to support multiple software development teams migrating to it.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide support to developers (i.e. by helping them migrate to Kubernetes).
- Handle installation and upgrades of key DevOps tools and systems.
- Maintain robust DEV and UAT environments to support the software development life cycle.
- Research and implement new technologies within the DevOps space to improve the effectiveness of our development teams.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
- Candidates will ideally hold a bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field.
Experience
- Proven track record of managing DevOps processes to support multiple development teams.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins TeamCity etc.
- Solid experience with observability tools such as Prometheus ELK Stack etc.
- Any experience working with cloud service providers such as AWS is a plus.
- Handson experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of Docker.
- Competence in managing both Linux and Windows servers.
- Proficiency in Python scripting is considered an asset.
