The Division of RenalElectrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the nontenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of advanced CKD and ESKD management including incenter and home dialysis. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students residents and fellows at the Perelman School of Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of highquality teaching. Applicants should be outstanding educators.
Clinical responsibilities may include ambulatory care and consultative hospitalbased care to general nephrology patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and within a large affiliated dialysis program.
There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
