Primary Job Role
Works under the guidance of a qualified shop or field service technician in the disassembly repair reassembly and test of components.
Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery/equipment. Disassembles components and properly clean parts.
Inspects components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs.
Prepares all parts requisitions time cards or service reports as requested by the supervisor. Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs.
Demonstrates utilization of dealer computer systems for work orders and other documentation.
Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.
Works in a neat orderly and safe manner while caring for and maintaining company machines/equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have completed standards outlined in the personnel achievement guideline or have been determined to meet the same qualification by the lead person based on division location.
