About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker your role involves creating a secure and nurturing home environment for Children and Young People who have experienced childhood trauma abuse or neglect. Your responsibilities include delivering personalised support and guidance fostering the development of independent life skills assisting with emotional regulation and providing opportunities for reengagement in education and community activities.
We are looking for team members with expertise in supporting individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviours such as aggression selfharm drug use and absconding. Successful candidates will have prior experience working with children and young people and possess a comprehensive understanding of childhood trauma and its impacts.We are offering casual permanent part and full time shifts across two houses 10 minutes travel distance apart. Full Time shifts will typically be Monday to Friday with some weekend work.
