Job Description
Are you passionate about working with children and guiding them towards success We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Teachers for our School Age Program. As a School Age Group Leader you will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for children while ensuring their safety and wellbeing. We are looking for individuals that can work FullTime MondayFriday from May 28 2024 through August 9 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises students during all activities.
- Attends all scheduled field trips and swim days anywhere from 24 each week.
- Drive the 14passenger bus or van to field trips.
- Counsels students when social academic or adjustment problems arise.
- Guides students in planning their classroom activities.
- Ensures that the appearance cleanliness and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
- Helps children with meal times and cleanup.
- Helps with all academy and classroom paperwork such as daily notes student accident reports and attendance reports.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings academy events and parent meetings as requested.
- Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
- Helps arrange the classroom into welldefined interest areas.
- Maintains family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.
- Communicates appropriate information to parents and maintains developmental profiles for children.
- Helps plan and implement classroom curriculum based on the weeks theme.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position.
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Good Driving record.
- Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents coworkers and management.
- Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.
