Job Description
Overview
At Substance to Solution you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life grow as an individual and live life to its full potential.
As a Recovery Support Volunteer working with the opiate team based at Spring House you will be working in collaboration with Recovery Coordinators supporting with caseload management and supporting clients through all aspects of their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Support the recovery coordinator to carry out comprehensive assessments triage risk assessments risk management plans and to contribute to the development of individual community recovery plans
- Provide 1:1 key work session including harm reduction advice and recovery planning.
- Support those who use our services to achieve their care plan goals.
- Support and empower service users to engage in recovery activities both within Change Grow Live and the wider community.
- Cofacilitate groups and help deliver session plans
- Work towards holding a small caseload of lowrisk service users coordinating their treatment options.
- Document sessions on case management systems
You will be an integral team member and will play an active role in helping our service users achieve their goals. You will receive training and support and work towards holding a small caseload of lowrisk clients.
