I have been retained by a leading law firm seeking an IP Legal Director to join their wellestablished and highly respected team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced intellectual property lawyer to take on a senior role with strong progression prospects within a forwardthinking firm.

The Role:
- Advise clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters including trademarks patents and copyright
- Manage the noncontentious side of the IP practice
- Advise on commercial arrangements and negotiations related to IP matters
- Work closely with colleagues across various legal disciplines to deliver toptier service
- Contribute to business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships
The Person:
- Qualified solicitor with strong experience in intellectual property law
- Ideally 68 years PQE though consideration will be given to those with relevant expertise
- Proven track record in handling issues on trademark copyright and design rights
- Strong client management and business development skills
- Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness knowledge on patents would be ideal but not essential
