My client is searching for candidates with a minimum 2 years proven sales experience preferably in media sales and/or a B2B environment. The role is to support the ongoing business development for a leading media brand within the HMG Aerospace portfolio.
The package they would be prepared to offer is up to 35k basic salary p.a. dependent on suitability plus uncapped commission as well as a bonus scheme with OTE the candidates can realistically expect to earn between 45k50k p.a.
Key tasks forSenior Media Sales Executive :
Managing the business development of advertising and sponsorship sales across print and digital platforms for a leading media portfolio within the aerospace industry
Majority of sales work will be performed over the telephone but on occasion facetoface presentations will be required such as when attending international trade events
Manage existing accounts and actively develop new business by identifying leads
Expected to achieve sales targets and present accurate prospects and revenue updates on a regular basis
Keep client database uptodate via a CRM system with new and existing contacts
Work with designers and production team to ensure the smooth transition of client advertising campaigns
Collaborate with team members to consider new projects and/or brand extensions to drive revenue streams
As an international business on occasion you may be required to work outside normal business hours
Experience and skills for Senior Media Sales Executive:
Some training will be provided but we are looking for a minimum of two years sales experience preferably in a B2B environment (media background an advantage)
Demonstrate a good sales technique including negotiation skills and overcoming objections
Proven track record in delivering on sales growth and business development
Demonstrate an overall professional approach to the sales function
With strict deadlines demonstrate the ability to handle pressure situations
Confident individual with a creative approach
Enthusiastic and driven to get the job done
The ability to work on own initiative
Good communication skills both written and verbally
The ability to adapt as negotiations will be conducted with people from various cultures
Being comfortable in travelling internationally on some occasions potentially alone
Good IT skills with knowledge of using MS Office as well as video calling platforms such as MS Teams and/or Zoom
Experience with CRM software is an advantage
