This is a Hybrid role the team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week.

Treasury & Debt Capital Markets at Capital on Tap
This role is part of the DCM/Treasury team but will work closely with the wider Finance team. Our job is ensuring we have enough money from our lenders its in the right place at the right time and doing so in the most efficient way possible.

The Role
Were seeking a Finance Analyst who is ready to take ownership and make an impact from day one by identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies automate processes and find ways to build a bestinclass treasury function.

What Youll Be Doing
Youll be the main point of contact for all external debt investor queries conducting adhoc analysis and building out portfolio monitoring and reporting infrastructure to automate and streamline the Investor reporting function. Youll be reporting to the Debt Capital Markets manager and working closely with the Head of Capital Markets and CFO offering valued input in strategic discussions. Your core responsibilities will be as follows:

Investor Reporting

  • Preparing monthly investor reports and ongoing covenant monitoring of our credit card portfolio
  • Be the first point of contact for all external debt investor queries
  • Prepare and review drawdown requests to be sent to investors
  • Ensure interest payments are made on time

Cash Management & Liquidity

  • Carry out daily cash management
  • Ensure efficiency of cash drawdowns to minimise interest expenditure
  • Daily analysis/oversight of global cash position. Liaising with the finance team where action is necessary
  • Help the Debt & Capital Markets Manager implement strategies to maximise interest received and minimise interest spent

Portfolio Management

  • Build dashboards to monitor the portfolio covenants and be proactive in preventing breaches.
  • Implement process improvements / execute on projects independently.
  • Optimise the allocation of assets across the portfolio
  • Using SQL and Looker to analyse and visualise data (opportunity to learn how to use these tools)

What we are looking for

  • 24 years of experience in a highly analytical or datadriven role ideally within financial services consulting or a fast paced startup.
  • 2.1 undergraduate degree or above preferably in a quantitative subject (e.g Mathematics Economics Finance or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders including senior management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with data
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to problemsolving.
  • Selfmotivated and proactive with a strong ability to analyse and maintain large datasets.
  • Curious and adaptable mindset eager to challenge the status quo experiment and drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with SQL DBT Snowflake Python or Looker is a plus
  • Experience within the financial services sector is preferred
  • Knowledge of Securitisation or Lending would be an added bonus

Interview Process:
First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
Second stage: 45 minute competencies overview and case study with Team Manager (In person)
Final stage: 3045 minute interview with Head of Capital Markets (In person ideally on the same day as 2nd interview)
