IT System Administrator
Precept Wine is the largest privately owned independent wine company in the Northwest. Were seamlessly integrated to run our own vineyards wineries and worldclass tasting rooms. Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an opening for an Information Technology Systems Administrator in our Seattle office. This position will deal with a range of IT activities that will support and ensure the protection and confidentiality of the companys data.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and monitoring computer networks and systems including software VPNs routers and other physical hardware to ensure appropriate performance
- Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware and/or software issues
- Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
- Communicating networking issues to other employees and management especially in training new users
- Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users ondemand or from inspection of the systems
- Create change archive and delete user accounts per request
- Provide prompt efficient and accurate technical support including desktop support workstation deployment building monitoring and maintaining Windows servers and network appliances
Ideal candidate will have:
- Technical training or degree and 35 years in a similar role
- Must have experience with Active Directory HyperV and Network Management
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified Partner A minimum
- Experience with Watchguard firewall is a plus
- SQL Database experience a plus
- Must have excellent verbal written communication and listening skills
The applicant must be flexible professional highly motivated and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
