Job Description
This is an excellent position for someone interested in entering the industry and building a lasting career.
The primary responsibility of the Digital Print Production Operator is to operate and complete all digital printing (B&W/Color) production for maximum production efficiency.

- Responsible for operating digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation.
- Assisting in our large format department with installations & production work when available
- Responsible for imposing files for print & running USPS mail software
- Works with Production Scheduler to prioritize and manage daily job production
- Produces orders accurately efficiently and quickly while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Updates job status and location in MIS system
- Always runs a proof copy and compares it to the work order
- Controls waste and redos by qualitychecking jobs as they are being produced
- Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
- Tracks waste spoilage usage and inventory for all digital printing machines
- Maintains all Digital Printing Equipment logs
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Performs all required maintenance and learns extended maintenance from the technician.
- Ensures that all service clicks are credited by the service technician in each call including credit for poorquality copies
- Calibrates and manages all color devices as required to maintain color consistency.
- Monitors color consistency during all print runs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
- Digital printing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.
- Can perform basic bindery functions.
- Familiar and comfortable with Fiery Print Controller a plus.
- Is proficient with the use of Command Workstation (if applicable) to control digital workflow.
- Graphic design skills are preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
