About the job
We are looking for a proactive and detailoriented Senior Accountant to join our team in a newly established manufacturing facility.
This role plays a key part in setting up and managing the financial systems ensuring accurate cost tracking inventory control and compliance with accounting standards from the ground up.
Main Duties
- Set up and maintain the accounting system and processes specific to the manufacturing environment
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (invoices payments expenses etc.
- Support the monthend and yearend closing processes
- Monitor production costs raw material usage and overheads to ensure accurate cost accounting
- Manage inventory accounting including stock entries adjustments and valuations
- Ensure timely submission of companys financial reporting according to group reporting deadlines
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Liaison with external/internal auditors financial institutions and tax authority on accounting financial and taxation matters
- Coordinate with procurement production and warehouse teams to ensure financial accuracy across operations
- Solid understanding of cost accounting inventory control and financial reporting
- Support factory manager for ad hoc projects
Essential position requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment (preferable). Experience in Product Costing is an asset
- Proficient in accounting software (preferable SAP Hana) and full sets of accounts
- Familiarity with local tax regulations and reporting standards
- Proficient in English language skills (both spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Analytical and result driven

- Strong communication and business partnering skills
