Job Description

Lead Technical Support for a Global Maritime Powerhouse

Are you a European citizen with a strong maritime background Currently in Nigeria or open to relocating This could be your chance to take on a key leadership role with a worldrenowned shipbuilding company.

Were hiring a Vessel Warranty & Support Manager on behalf of our client a global leader in shipbuilding. This role is based in Nigeria and were specifically seeking a European passport holder either already residing in Nigeria or willing to move. In this position youll act as the key liaison between clients and shipyard teams in France ensuring technical support warranty coordination and customer satisfaction are delivered at the highest standards.

Your Role

  • As the face of postdelivery support in Nigeria youll be responsible for:
  • Warranty Management
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers during the warranty period
  • Overseeing diagnostics repairs and onboard technical interventions
  • Reporting to both clients and the Operations Manager in France
  • Ensuring traceability of feedback and resolution of technical issues

    Technical Coordination

    • Supervising local technicians (including teams in Guyana and the Bahamas)
    • Managing support systems including spares tools and documentation
    • Supporting maintenance planning and fault diagnostics
    • Handling aftersales services such as refits modifications and upgrades

      Your Background

      • Must be a European citizen (passport required)
      • 10 years of relevant maritime industry experience
      • Background as a merchant navy officer superintendent naval engineer or similar
      • Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus)
      • Technically sound with excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
      • Able to manage priorities independently and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
      • Familiar with standard IT tools and reporting systems
