Job Description
Are you passionate about exploring human behaviour society and the world we live in A highly regarded secondary school in StokeonTrent is seeking a talented and forwardthinking Social Sciences Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2025. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching a combination of Psychology Sociology and/or Criminology at KS4 and KS5.
This role would suit a specialist in one of the social sciences who is confident and willing to teach across disciplines. You will be joining a team of committed educators who deliver creative thoughtprovoking lessons that challenge students and encourage them to think critically about the world around them.

What Were Looking For:
- A degree in a relevant Social Science subject (Psychology Sociology Criminology etc.
- UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Ability to teach at least one subject to ALevel with flexibility across disciplines
- An engaging and innovative teaching approach
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusive education
- A desire to contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities
