Role Objective:
The Asset Management Specialistwill be responsible for coordinating the onsite maintenance teams across various hotels ensuring that hotel facilities and equipment are in perfect working condition. This professional must ensure the efficient and safe of all preventive and corrective maintenance services collaborating with other departments to guarantee customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the maintenance teams of all hotels under their responsibility ensuring that all maintenance services are performed efficiently on time and to a high standard of quality.
- Coordinate the outsourcing teams responsible for hotel service contracts.
- Plan and supervise the of preventive and corrective maintenance programs minimizing disruptions to daily hotel operations.
- Possess the skills to coordinate and manage the central maintenance management system (Infraspeak).
- Manage the material and human resources required to carry out maintenance activities ensuring that all tools equipment and spare parts are available.
- Monitor and control the maintenance activities budget seeking costoptimization solutions without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Develop and train maintenance teams promoting a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities identifying repair needs improvements or investment opportunities.
- Assist in coordinating the interaction of maintenance teams with other hotel departments (such as front desk housekeeping and security) to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Prepare periodic reports on the condition of facilities maintenance status and corrective actions taken.
- Work closely with suppliers and external service providers to ensure the proper of outsourced services when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams preferably in the hospitality sector or similar environments.
- Technical education in maintenance engineering or related fields.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities with teams and other departments.
- Knowledge of best practices in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on deadlines and results.
- Proficiency in maintenance management and budgeting tools.
- Commitment to quality safety and environmental sustainability.
- Availability to travel between hotels as needed.
