Your Role as an ECT Physics Teacher

  • Deliver Engaging Physics Lessons: Teach inspiring lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students covering essential topics such as forces energy electricity waves and more.

  • Support Student Learning: Encourage students to develop a love for physics promoting critical thinking and problemsolving through interactive lessons and handson experiments.

  • Work Closely with Mentors: Receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues helping you to refine your teaching strategies and develop your career.

  • Engage in Curriculum Planning: Collaborate with fellow teachers to help develop and adapt the physics curriculum ensuring it is exciting and challenging for students.

  • Lead ExtraCurricular Activities: Contribute to and support physicsrelated extracurricular activities such as science clubs science fairs and educational field trips.
