Job Description
A leading Mixed School in Haringey is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business & Economics Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The successful Business & Economics Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 4 and 5 to understand the principles of business and the workings of the economy.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Business & Economics Teacher lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Prepare students thoroughly for ALevel Business and Economics examinations.
- Develop students understanding of key business concepts economic theories and market forces.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as a Business & Economics Teacher.
- Contribute to the development of the business and economics curriculum and resources.
- Encourage critical thinking and an appreciation for the world of business and finance.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies or Economics.
- Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics at secondary level ideally including ALevel.
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge of business principles and economic theories.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in the study of Business and Economics.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
